The Dublin Meet Up #2

As you will know from my last post, I was off having a lovely old time on Saturday at the Dublin blogger meet up organised by the lovely Samantha of All The Buzz. I got to meet some bloggers I love and discovered some new ones that I'm getting stuck into reading lots of their posts! Here are some of the bloggers I met. If your not listed here I'm sorry, I talked to so many wonderful girlys that day that I might have got a bit confused. Feel free to tweet or message me and I will add you in!

Killer Fashion  First girls I got chatting to who were so so lovely! Thank you for the photo and great natter!

TownMouseCountryMouse Both of these sisters were so friendly and stylish to say the least!

Zee-Railed  Zita was the one who told me all about this meet up so a big shout out and thank you to her! After all our talking and planning we never actually got to talk to each other which was awful but I'm going to go on a hunt if we are at the next meet up to say a huge hello!

GlitterMamaWishes Lovely lady who has a third baby on the way - good luck Yaz!

PinkElephantBloggin More gorgeous ladies who gave me one of their very fancy cards - next on my shopping list are cards!

SoPolishedIreland I bumped into Manal at the very end just before she was leaving and chewed the ear off her, the poor girl! She is so lovely and so so talented with nail art!

GirlFridaysBeautyBlog Last but not least Anne Maire was uber lovely to get to talk to, she showed me some picture layouts and said if I was nervous at meet ups she would walk in with me so I wasn't alone. How nice is she?

I hope to meet more bloggers and make lots of new friends. I am gutted I didn't get up the courage to go and talk to more bloggers as they were all so lovely. But theres always next time!!

The Dublin Meet Up #1

Last Saturday I attended my first every bloggers meet up and I was terrified! I even went off to the shops and got new tops because I clearly had nothing acceptable in my overflowing wardrobe... But I need not have worried as everyone was so nice! The event was organized by the wonderful Samantha Johnston who writes AllTheBuzz. Can I just say this girly was totally amazing to take on something like this, it doesn't seem like an easy job to do! We all met at The Church Bar and had a little place to ourselves to natter and mingle. When I got there I was warmly welcomed by Samantha and told to take some goodie bags. My gosh what fab things were inside too!

Not only did I get to meet loads of bloggers that I love (que fan girl moments that I'm ashamed of!) and some new ones too, but there was also a demo by Niamh Martin, creater of Nima Brush. She has been a make up artist for over 10 years and did an amazing job doing Lisa of Pink Sugar's make up while throwing in some handy tips. The next speaker was Michelle McMahon of Her.ie who gave a really great inspirational talk on how she came up through the world of journalism and landed at her desk in Her.ie. As a massive fan of the site and Michelle I might have had a huge fan girl moment, evening asking for an autograph which is below in the biggest possible photo size setting. (I honestly have no shame.) After her talk I wanted to go straight to a computer and type, then run to Kerry and back, just for the hell of it considering how inspired I felt.

While we were all chattering away Rosin from Reach Out Ireland which is a non profit, non government funded charity for youth mental health handed out post cards so we could all write positive notes to ourselves and they would get posted back to us! I thought it was a lovely way to give yourself a mini pick-me-up and to make you have a proper think about all the good things in your life. By the end of the event €150 was raised through buying raffle tickets for some great prizes. Go us girls! On a side note how amazing is Rosin's blue hair?

This was a really great day and I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was so friendly and nice, the atmosphere was cool and the guest speakers were unbelievable. I can't wait for the next event to see them all again and catch up! I will be doing a separate post on all the bloggers who I managed to meet on the day as I feel they deserve their own part. And I will also be doing a post on what I got in my goodie bags and the sponsors who were so generous!

One last thing I must say before I sign off for now (I know, such a long post right?) Samantha put all this together herself without any prior experience doing meet ups. She wanted to meet other bloggers, help other bloggers build friendships and the blogging community and help with her fear of public speaking. I can't get over how amazing a person like Samantha is to undertake such an enormous task arranging everything. Down to the goodie bags, a thank you card, lovely cup cakes and glittery red lips to greet us on the tables. My little bit of inspiration for the week.

9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion

So a few weeks ago I bought a new cleansing lotion from Lush knowing I was almost finished my other cleansers. I had used 9 to 5 once before at a friends and really loved how it felt and worked so I knew that I wanted to get it even if it was a hole in the pocket at €10.95 for a 240g bottle.

From the minute I opened the bottle and started using it I regretted buying it (the bigger bottle is better value just to tell you!) The cleanser itself works ok, not mind blowing wonder cream but it works well enough - scrubbing eye make up a little though. Its the lack of thickness that bothers me so much. You try to put a little onto a cotton pad but because its such a watery consistency it goes everywhere. No matter how small a blob (that word is gas!) you try and squeeze out, it just slides off the cotton pad or your face if you don't rub it around your skin quick enough. I am a little heart broken over how messy and hard to use this product is.

The sweet smell alone would make you buy it, I just love it so much. I think it might be the dove orchids that they steep in almond oil overnight - that infused oil is the base of this lotion. Not only does it have dove orchids in almond oil but ylang ylang oil and honeysuckle. But even with all these lovely things added into this big bottle, I can safely say I wont ever be repurchasing this again, instead spending my money on better and cheaper cleansing lotions like Botanics All Bright that I reviewed a while ago.

Maire Claire - November Issue

Let me start by saying that I never normally fork out for magazines. Only if I feel I need a little pick me up, if theres an amazing articular or if, like in this case, there is a freebie thats too good to miss out on!

Go and get your hands on a Maire Claire magazine this month, they have a 30ml L'Occitane hand cream in four different scents - I got the original for dry skin and will of course do a review on it once I've put a bit of a hole in the tube. L'Occitane is a brand I have never gotten myself purely because of the crazy cost, so this is a perfect treat for me! The magazine costs €6.70 in Easons and the hand cream retails for around €10 give or take. Bargain? I think so!

It also has some interesting articles and a cool interview with my home girl, Zooey Deschanel. And lets not forget the samples and shiny advertisements for watches, clothes and perfumes that I will never buy, but love looking at. Le sigh, a girl can dream.

Are you going to go pick up this gem or have you already got it?

Book Review: Amazing And Extraordinary Facts Ghosts

Keeping on the theme of Halloween, I want to tell you all about my latest book Amazing and Extraordinary Facts Ghosts. When I was last in the value book shop in town I spotted this and picked it up for just €5.

This is a fun and scary read explaining the definitions of different ghosts and what sort of people go after them. There are short stories about all different types of happenings both from modern day and from long ago. All of them have historical reference such as all the scary things that have happened in the Town of London.

This is a really easy read as the stories are short enough that you can put it down and know your not going to be lost when you pick it up again. Get in the mood of Halloween and pick up this or something else scary to read!

You can win a copy of Dracula in my Halloween giveaway!

DIY Scary Halloween Candle Jars

The past week or so I have been getting majorly into the Halloween spirit (see what I did there? I know, I'm just too much!) I have put up all the decorations and pimped out my ears with spooky spider earrings. I just love this time of year! And one thing I love more is a bit of DIY with glue and glitter to keep the mind firmly in the toddler era - as being a fully grown woman its harder to make excuses when your washing glitter out of your hair for the next week...

But lets get onto how to make these really quick and simple spooky jars. They are really great to do with kids but don't let that put you off making them. Its nice to get a bit of down time do something just for you. So put on the kettle, spread on a face mask and lets get to work!

All you need for this quick and easy project is:

A clean jar
Glue
A paint brush
Black card
Coloured crepe paper
Ribbon (optional)
A tea light or small candle

Day time look
1. First your going to cut or rip up pieces of your crepe paper - enough to cover your whole jar. Orange, black and white were the colours I used to make pumpkins, a ghost and a bat.

2. Once you have that done, pour some of your glue onto a plate and start to paint it onto the pieces then sticking them to the jar. Do this all around the jar making sure theres no gaps left.

3. Now the 'hard' part - leave it to dry. Go pour out that cup of tea! I left my jars for a full day to make sure they were super dry. But if your in a rush you can do the next step straight after.

4. Use your black paper to cut shapes for eyes, noses and mouths in whatever expression you want them. For my ghost I did very easy 'U' shapes for the eyes and a circle for the mouth. Once your happy with it, go ahead and glue them on.

5. To finish off my jars I added little ribbons that I thought matched each jar. I especially love the green ribbons on my pumpkin jars as they remind me of the stalks. Then pop in a tea light and your all done.

Lit up at night
I hope some of you will make these as they are so fun and easy to do. Not only that but its a great way to recycle some of your old jars. I have a feeling the house will soon be coming down with all the ones I want to make!

Keeping on the Halloween topic, have you entered my Halloween giveaway yet? Theres things like a Benefit lipstick and Lush bath bomb to be won!

Things I've Used Up #2

If you've just popped by, hey lovely of you to come take a look at my blog. I did a #1 post last month, over here. I just love reading empties posts, I can't help but be nosy!

So way back at the start of this year I got to know Fragrance Direct quite well and ordered the famous Macadamia Oil shampoo while it was cheap because its not normally something I would ever be able to fork out for. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot of money, I honestly couldn't see any difference in my hair and the shampoo was difficult to get a good lather in my hair. Ok, its colour safe, sulfate free and paraben free which are all great, but this just isn't for me.

A quick sniff of this empty pot and I'm wishing I still had some left! I did a big review of Soap and Glory's Scrub em and Leave em over here. While on the topic of reviews, I also did a review of Love Lettuce too. I can not wait for my next visit to Lush to repurchase this stuff or maybe pick up a different one and try them all! Amazing on the skin.

When the blogs of the world went a bit crazy for texturising sea salt sprays, I had to see what they were all about and picked up Aussie dual personality aussome texturising and conditioning gel spray. I am a big Aussie fan and found this to be a lovely treat for my hair, giving it a bit of volume and lots of texture to play around with and style my hair. Thumbs up all the way, it even wins on the smell. I'll be picking this up again.

Bit odd but I repurched my Vitamin C tablets. Winters rolling in fast and I am so prone to getting colds! By taking one of these everyday I am helping my body that extra little bit to keep me well. Have you sorted your vitamins? You can get these in Boots, Tesco or even your local garage!

Yet another shampoo, this time its Fruit Essence by Boots. This one is called goodbye dry ends for mid to long hair. I regularly buy these from Boots, they remind me a lot of Herbal Essences as they smell just as nice but for half the price - oh would you look at that poetry! For under €2 you can pick up one of these and they all have matching conditioners too. Bargain!

Lastly my Natural Collection pressed powder in cool. This is a permanent product in my make up bag and I have already repurchased tow more of these. Works well, keeps eveything in place and cheap too. What more could you ask for. Loads of my family and friends love this particular product, its fab!

My Top 5 Hand Creams

Something a little different for you all, my top five favourite hand creams! I am a big fan of hand creams as I tend to use them as a multi purpose item for my hands, elbows, arms, feet and sometimes knees. They get a grueling testing out and if they can't make my skin soft its in the bin with them never to be bought again. These are in no particular order, being in my hand bag, beside my bed or getting passed around my friends, they are my go-to creams.

Dove indulgent nourishment is an old favourite of mine. My mom has used Dove, my gran has used it. Its just one of those loved and trusted brands. I particularly like this one as is has shea butter in it making my skin smell devine and it is a deep care complex forumla just to add fancyness to the pot. I use it as a before bed cream for my elbows and feet, waking up to noticeably softer skin.

Cath Kidston Wild Flowers in honeysuckle is so handy to throw in my bag or when travelling as its the perfect size and smells like home in the summer (we have honeysuckle growing at the entrance to the garden) I use this only on my hands as I feel its a small tube and I don't want to waste it on anything that can be covered with shoes or clothes! - Weird I know.

Johnson's 24 Hour Moisture Radiance I picked this up before Christmas last year in a sale for €1.40 (good memory huh?!) just to try out and fell in love with it. I reminds me of my Dove one with the same shea and cocoa butter smell. This one I use on my hands all the way up to my elbows to help them keep soft and not rough or sore. Works a treat.

Flower Pharm is actually a body butter but I love to use it as a hand cream as well. You can get three in a pack from Tecso and they really work wonders. I use this one all over and it give the best results to my knees. Ah, to be a softie all over. Le sigh.

Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula is my last but not least hand cream. Theres a bit of a trend here with the cocoa butter, I know but I just love the smell and how soft it makes my skin! This is a concentrated cream with vitamin E so it gives extra love when my skin needs it most. This is kept in my top drawer so I can grab it when my skin needs it most. I picked this up in Pennys.

What are some of your favourite hand creams? As always I hope everyone is keeping happy and well! You can always find and talk to me on Twitter.

L'oreal's New Skin Perfection 3in1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Last to the party as always. Hello, sorry I'm late. Are there any mini sausages left?

Blog land has been going mad the past while with L'oreal's newist product and after reading many reviews and looking at it in Boots I found it in Tesco one night on special offer - it would have been rude not to buy it.

Girls and boys I can't express how happy I am that I nabbed it, its just the best. The brand spanking new skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying micellar solution 200ml gets rid of make up like no other product I have ever tried - no exaggeration. It claims to dissolve make up, unclog pores and remove impurities, tone and soothe the skin. Honesty seems to be a big thing for this product as it does just what it says on the front.

This solution is a multi purpose product, used for face eyes and lips, acting as a make up remover, toner and skin smoother. Handy thing to have if you don't fancy getting out all your potions and lotions or if your trying to pack lightly when travelling. It suggests leaving the skin perfection soaked cotton pad against your eye for a few seconds and then just wiping away, taking with it a lot of eye make up. Thats a big yay! for me as I always end up scrubbing at my eyes desperately trying to get mascara off my lashes.

I was surprised how water like this is, with no alcohol, no perfume and hypo-allergenic. This is suitable for all skin types, so that means us sensitive skin people! It doesn't sting my skin or eyes and theres no make up or grim left on my face after using this as I've tested it out a few times now, cleaning my face again with different cleansers just to see if anything more came off. I can't give this any more praise without writing sonnets. This is going to be something I've recommend to friends, got my family to try out and I think I might even get one or two bottles for Christmas (yes, I've said Christmas before its even Halloween. Don't hate me, just planning ahead!)

Lush Soot Ball Halloween Limited Edition Bath Bomb

The minute I saw this online I knew I had to go grab it before they were all gone. This little soot ball reminds me of the soot gremlins in Spirited Away by Studio Ghibli. I love this film and I love how this bath bomb looks!

This is a limited edition Halloween special along with two other Halloween pieces. I have to say I was a bit disappointed Lush didn't bring out a bigger range this year and its not clear to see them in the shops when you walk in either, Christmas gift sets and products have taken over instead.

Soot is filled with shea and cocoa butter, frankincense, sandalwood and the burnt caramel sent of tonka absolute giving it a sweet yet spicy sent that will fill your bathroom once it is all dissolved in the water. It really smells lovely and warm, something you can't wait to sink into and relax. The only down side to this bath bomb is that there aren't a huge amount of bubbles, which I always like my baths to have. But it does make up for it in how moisturizing the bath water is.

Despite Lush's best efforts, the bath water does not go a golden colour but instead a shiny brown as the gold and black mix together. Look at the pictures below to understand what I'm talking about. Now some people will find this disappointing or even unappealing to get into, but for me I thought it was fun. My mind tends to run away with itself and as its nearly Halloween I was imagining all sorts of reasons as to why I had to bathe in this funny coloured water. I decided in the end that it was to find the Loch Ness Monster because only a pair of eyes were to be found at the end of this adventure. (I know, mind of a three year old over here. But it was fun!) I came away relaxed, softer skinned and smelling a bit Wintery if thats at all possible. Oh and some people have been a bit ifie over comments being made about this bath bomb. No it does not stain your skin and no it does not stain your bath. Theres no scrubbing involved when you get out of the bath I promise!

When I went into the bathroom to turn on the water this is what I was met with. A Dodie cat in the bath! I think she was looking for spider dinner as she often does. Shes doing her best 'I'm not doing a thing! I'm being really good' face.

You can win your very own Soot Ball to try and love in my Halloween giveaway. Have you entered yet? This month is flying, do it soon!

Maybelline Baby Lips

Just about everyone and their stylish cat has one of these fellas, Maybelline baby lips. They took America by storm, ladies and gents all over the UK went mad for them and now they are in Ireland and us Irish folk seem to only have good things to say about them too. So I felt a bit left out and decided I'd have a sneaky visit to Boots and pick one up.

These come in cute coloured packaging thats very girly and a little childish almost. There are 6 of there lip balms, 3 are pigmented and 3 are colourless. I went for Cherry Me which is a redish tint and smells just like yummy cherries. If you happen to taste it as many people will - I mean come on your lips are covered in the stuff, no judging! - you will be seriously put off, it tastes awful. Other then that the colour pay off is ok but I wouldn't be wearing it on a night out, opting for a stain or even lip gloss.

With and then without the lip balm
I've been wearing baby lips for about 2 weeks now and I haven't noticed any difference to my lips, they are no more nourished or hydrated then normal, nor or they any worse then when I first started using it. Overall its a bit 'meh' for me. I like it and will get others to try them out but its not a big wow product for me at €4.49 a pop.

I am giving away one of these baby lips in my Halloween giveaway

Have you tried them yet? What did you think?

Nail Varnish Storage

This is just a quick post inspired by a lot of beauty storage boxes I have been seeing all over the place. I've been keeping my polishes in a big make up bag for years and I thought it was time for a change. I wanted something that was going to display what I had and give me easy access to them as well. I don't have a lot of flat space in my room for displaying everything pretty I own, but I didn't want my pretties hidden away in my storage drawers (Argos) any longer. I plan on investing in a new book case soon, fingers crossed.

Que drunk night at a friends house when I spotted a gorgeous pink and black box. There was little biscuits inside and I asked once they were eaten if I could have the box. I woke up the next morning the proud owner of said box that was stuffed into my handbag, biscuits and all! Reusing old packaging is not only environmentally friendly but it looks great and is unique too. So here is some of my favourite and most used nail varnishes that are laid out, easy to see and look lovely too. Proud girly right here.

This isn't the only box I have reused. Lush boxes are stacked in my wardrobe along with other gift boxes I have gotten over the years. Have you reused anything like this?

Got my mitts on the new L'oreal skin perfection after reading blog reviews, can't wait to use it more and see if I love it as much as I think I do. Also in love with my Rimmel volume mascara / Twinings rejuvenating nettle tea for €1.75 in Tesco, it tastes really lovely - and pretty box / Downloaded the new revenge wears prada, I'm about 15% in and I am really liking it so far

Cake Boss, I'm obsessed! I've got Stephen hooked too / Bourjois sharpener that I lost for over a year, I just found it again. Best sharpener around, and its only €3 in Boots. Go get it! / After getting this Marilyn Monroe picture for my 18th birthday - thanks Steph! - I finally got it hung

Lush Sugar Scrub

I got a whole lot of Lush things for my birthday last month from loads of friends and family (oh they know me too well) This sugar scrub was one of those things. I've used a sample of this before, a very long time ago but couldn't really remember what I thought of it, so I was delighted to get to test it out again.

Sugar scrub is a green half circle of well, sugar! You break parts of it off in the shower and use it to scrub your entire body. It exfoliates and some people say its great for getting rid of cellulite. It has sugar, ginger and fennel oil that all drain water and toxins from the skin tissue - scientific or what? After using it I felt way more awake, it has a very strong ginery smell with a hint of something else but once you rub it onto your skin you can smell some lavender too, nom I love the smell of it! It felt lovely on my skin and was like I was getting right into rough skin making it softer but it was kind of hard to break pieces off without some of it falling apart, some of it ended up on the shower floor or down the drain - ahh no! However it redeems itself because I'm going to be getting at least 3 uses out of this bad boy and it felt lovely to use.

A nice little wake up treat that has a great crazy green colour for £2.95, a bit hard to use but you get your moneys worth. I don't know if I'd go and purchase this myself, maybe once in a while or as a little surprise gift for someone. Go in and ask about these lovely scrubs next time you pass a Lush (If you don't know, Lush staff are the most helpful and informative people ever!)

Some Blogs I Love #2

Hopefully you will have read my first post in this mini series, but if not check it out here. For the rest of you, you know the drill! Lets Begin;

Lips So Facto: A newish blog to me but over the past 2 months or so it has fast become a must
read for me. I even just love the name so much. Meg has a certain style of writing that makes you feel likes shes tailored what shes talking about just for you. You can find her just as active on YouTube, if not more. Is she not the most pretty girl you have ever seen?

A Model Recommends: My little heart flutters slightly at the mention of Ruth, the model. Did I mention shes a model? I've been a long time follower of Ruth's, she reviews some very high end products that I will never be able to afford, but instead of it making me feel a little down her reviews satisfy me and I know more about what there like, told to me by a real person and not just a promotion. Also love her Sunday Tittle Tattle. Have to read it every single Sunday, without fail. YouTube over here! (P.S. she has a cat and takes photos of him regularly - my home girl right there)

Fleur De Force: Fleur is an amazing YouTuber and blogger, I tend to read her reviews because she gets the most up to date new product releases to review before they come out, so you can get a sneaky peek! I must admit, I enjoy her a little more on youtube then in the written word.

Beauty And The Books: Jo is my kind of girl, shes funny, likes to chat and has the best topics about. Its not just beauty this girly talks about, its her life and even some books! I have been a fan of her for so long and it only occurred to me recently to actually follow her blog to show support! She doesn't post loads, but when she does they are jems.

Tattoologist: This started back in 2009 by Natilite Hanks. People send in their tattoos to show the world. Not much reading involved, but I really love it none the less. I'm so nosy and want to be inspired by what people have on their skin!

What I Heart Today: Lily is one of those girls that just charms cameras to do her evil work, creating the most flawless photos around, le sigh. She does some great reviews on products that I feel tend to be more in my price range for the most part. And her My Week # posts are just the best, I love them so much! Shes on YouTube too don't you know.

As always I hope everyone has a fab day and I hope you all have a great weekend! (Go do something relaxing or fun!)

Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Eye Concealer

On one of my many visits to Boots I found Seventeens new Phwoarr Paint heavy duty under eye concealer in fair. I got it as part of a buy one get one half price deal on a whim as you can never have too many concealers, you can see it in my haul post here

I wasn't sure what to expect with this as Seventeen isn't a make up brand I see talked about a lot in blog land. It seems to be the brand I'm going back to more and more in recent months, they are bringing out some really great things and they can do no wrong in my books. For example I have been a lover of their eye shadows for a very long time, you can see it in my whats in my makeup bag. This product claims to be 'The One. The hard core concealer to wage war on under eye circles.' I'm delighted to report that it does just that, wages war and wins hands down. This is a gorgeous creamy, thick and rich formulation that you can blend with your fingers with ease over those dark circles and they vanish in an instant. I like to use a little on those really red spots too as it really covers well and hides the worst of it, then use some setting powder as I don't want to look shiny!

The colour that suits my skin tone perfectly is in fair, but their overall colour range is a bit limited. Apart from that not so cool fact, it reminds me a little of Benefits boi-ing for a quarter of the price at €5.49 which is average for high street make up. It also looks a like boi-ing with the round black packaging, with the added bonus of a mirror. Over all this gets a huge thumbs up from me and I would say this will become a permanent must have for my make up bag. You can get it here if your in the UK but it doesn't seem to be on the Irish Boots site yet.

Huge Boots And Pound Shop Haul

As you can see, I went a tiny bit mad the other day in Boots and bought some essentials.. And then some lusted after goodies I've been wanting to try for yonks. First off was a bee line to the shampoo and condition section as I am nearly out of my normal Boots €1.95 stuff. It was 3 for 2 so I got a lovely smelling Dove set and an Aussie deep conditioner that I tried years ago and loved ever since. (Benefits of having showers at friends houses you see.) I got some Boots own brand chamomile and lemon balm shampoo as it was cheap as chips and smells lovely.

I finally caved in and got Maybelline baby lips in cherry, I really can not wait to try it out! I picked up buy one get one half price cotton pads as I'm nearly all out and repurchased my Natural Collection powder in two colours because again they were on offer and I want to see which colour is the best now that I'm using a different foundation. I also managed to finally find and repurchase 17's eye shadow trio in metallic toffee (see it here in action!) It was harder to find then

I needed to get some more Vitamin C tablets as I'm all out and really don't want to get one of my seasonal horrible colds, ugh! I got some Impulse into glamour (oh it smells so good!) and a little roll on Vaseline with aloe just to try it out. Hair pins grow legs and walk off on me so I threw in a pack and to finish off the crazy Boots rampage I picked up a packet of exfoliating mitts.

Lastly I saw that a pound shop had all its Halloween stock in and even dragged my mother in I was that excited! I came away with a little Frankenstein and a ghost, two sets of spider earrings and my favourite thing ever - confetti and glitter!

Life Makes Me Happy

I share so much of my life with so many wonderful people, I'm really lucky to have them all. And so in this post I want to share with all of you what makes me happy in life. For one being able to blog about all the things I like and getting to talk to others because of it give me excited butterflies just thinking about it! Its strangly calming being able to make photo collages or spending ages thinking hard about how to tell you all about a product.

Instead of going left to right, I'm going down in rows as its easier to follow!

Row one: Onion rings that are to die for, genuinely have never had nicer ones. (post here) / My new flower tattoo is my latest piece and I'm delighted to finally have it. (post here) / A sneaky snap of myself and Stephen, no doubt giving out to the poor guy. / Nivea factor 50+ from one of the first hot days of summer, I went to the beach with friends and it was great. / Catness stretched out  asleep in the sun.

Row two: The lovely Stephen who is too cute! / Dodie in a rare moment of staying still long enough to photograph / Some beautiful flowers my mom gave my gran.

Row three: The side street Skinflint is on (post here) / My handmade birthday scarf (post here) / Andrew and me at my birthday dinner / Thomas driving looking posh / One of my most proud blog photos of late, all in line. (post here)

Row four: My friend Siofra and her amazing hair / Feeding our pigeons in the sunshine / Some of my besties who came to my sisters wedding (post here) / Catness in her normal spot, taking up the whole couch! / Van, me and Stephen in Bobos (post here)

Row five: Me being a bit mad. My friends chinos were a cool turquoise colour  / Lush face mask that I really liked (post here) / 21st birthday balloons that my mom got for me (love her for the effort she put in)  / Me and Ciaran on a fo cow couch at my birthday dinner / blackberries I took some photos of on a walk near my house.

Thank you for all your support and reading my blog. If your new, welcome! As always ladies and gents, have a fab day x
